Thank you for your interest in Grace. We understand the importance of finding the right fit for your child, and we are here to help you through each step of the application process.
Applying to Grace
We will begin accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year on October 1, 2024. First round admissions applications are due by January 31, 2025. If there is space remaining after the first round of admissions, applications will be processed on a rolling basis. The steps listed below will guide you through the admission process. Age Requirements
- Children must be 5 years old by September 1 to be eligible for kindergarten
- Children must be 4 years old by September 1 to be eligible for jr. kindergarten
- Children must be 3 years old by September 1 to be eligible for preschool
Admissions Process
STEP 1 – GET TO KNOW GRACE: We encourage all prospective families to learn about what makes Grace great through an admissions event or private tour. Private in-person tours will be available beginning in October 2024.
STEP 2 – APPLY ONLINE: Complete and submit an online application, along with the $75 non-refundable application fee.
Important Dates in the 2025-26 Admissions Season:
- Applications for the 2025-26 school year are due by January 31, 2025.
- All supporting paperwork and visits must be completed by February 14, 2025.
- Admissions decisions will be released to families via email on March 7, 2025.
- Signed enrollment contracts are due by March 21, 2025.
STEP 3 – SUBMIT FORMS: Submit the Confidential Teacher Evaluation and Records Release Form to your child’s current teacher and/or school office, if applicable. Forms are linked below and will also be sent to you after completing an online application. Completed forms should be emailed directly from the preparer to Grace Episcopal School.
- Confidential Teacher Evaluation – Preschool, Jr. Kindergarten & Kindergarten
- Confidential Teacher Evaluation – Grades 1 through 5
- Records Release Form – All Students
STEP 4 – SCHEDULE VISITS: The Admissions Office will schedule the below visits with all prospective students and families:
- Student Visit – Classroom visit or play date for your child. These visits may be virtual if needed.
- Parent Visit – Virtual visit designed to be the building blocks for a strong parent and school partnership.
STEP 5 – OPTIONAL TESTING: Admissions Testing is optional for the 2025-26 school year. We do ask, however, that you submit any testing that was done previously, and we reserve the right to discuss additional testing options if the admissions committee requests it.
