Applying to Grace

At Grace Episcopal School, we believe that every child is more than a test score or checklist. Our admissions process is designed to build relationships and gain a well-rounded understanding of each applicant. We consider a child’s developmental stage, academic readiness, learning style, and classroom interactions while also taking time to learn about your family’s hopes for your child’s education. Teacher recommendations and progress reports from a child’s current school provide additional perspective. Our goal is to thoughtfully determine whether Grace is a place where your child will thrive and contribute to our caring community.

Age Requirements

Is your child ready for Grace? Children must meet the following age requirements by September 1:

Kindergarten: 5 years old
Jr. Kindergarten: 4 years old
Preschool: 3 years old

2027-28 School Year Admissions Deadlines

We will begin accepting applications for the 2027-28 school year on October 1, 2026. First round admissions applications are due by Friday, January 15, 2027.

If there is space remaining after the first round of admissions, applications will be processed on a rolling basis.

Admissions Process

STEP 1

Create an Enrollment Parent Portal Account.

STEP 2

Submit the application for admission by January 15, 2027. Our online application can be found on the Enrollment Parent Portal. Each application has a non-refundable $75 application fee.

STEP 3

Complete the application checklist by February 1, 2027.

Optional testing: Admissions testing is optional. We do ask, however, that you submit any testing that was done previously, and we reserve the right to discuss additional testing options if the admissions committee requests it.

Important Dates in the 2027-28 Admissions Season

Friday, January 15, 2027: Application deadline for the 2027-28 school year.
Saturday, January 30, 2027: Kindergarten admissions playdate (fulfills student visit requirement for all kindergarten applicants)
Monday, February 1, 2027: All supporting admissions paperwork and visits must be completed.
Friday, February 5, 2027: Tuition assistance deadline for new families for the 2027-28 school year.
Friday, February 26, 2027: Admissions decisions will be released to families via email at 4 p.m.
Friday, March 12, 2027: Signed enrollment contracts and deposits are due.
