Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Program at Grace Episcopal School assists qualified families who demonstrate financial need as determined by Grace’s Financial Aid Committee. The Committee is guided by an impartial third party system, Clarity Financial Aid, to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the Clarity Application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. Currently, we award financial aid to over 21 percent of our families. Requests for financial aid are not a factor in the admissions decision process. Please contact our Director of Admissions to begin the discussion on making Grace an affordable option for your child’s education.

All financial aid information is confidential.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What are my payment options?

Upon enrollment, a 10% non-refundable deposit for the annual tuition is due.

The second tuition payment, along with all supply and activity fees and tuition insurance (TRP) is due June 1st. For the remaining tuition, families may choose from one of the below options:

  • Families can pay tuition in full by June 1st for the upcoming year.
  • Families can pay monthly in eight installments, beginning in August and continuing through March.
How do I apply for financial aid?

Grace Episcopal School uses the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts. Clarity then makes financial aid recommendations based on each family’s individual circumstance, and final decisions are made by the Grace Episcopal School Financial Aid Committee.

To get started, please go to the **Clarity Application** and create an account. The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are able to save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit.

The deadline for completing the financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents is February 11, 2025.

If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at support@clarityapp.com or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.

When is my financial aid application due?

After applying to Grace, families may begin the financial aid application for their child. Financial Aid applications to Grace Episcopal School for the 2025-26 school year must be completed by February 11, 2025.

It is important to note that because a family’s financial situation may change from year to year, all current financial aid recipients at Grace Episcopal School must reapply for financial aid each year.
