Extended Care
Students in Grace’s extended care program thrive in a safe, nurturing environment where they bond with peers, participate in crafts and outdoor exercise, enjoy healthy snacks and more.
An Extended, Enriched Day
Grace offers flexible, quality extended care programs to all students in Preschool through Grade 5. Morning care students arrive as early as 7:30 a.m. each day, and afterschool care is available until 6 p.m. Extended care drop-ins are available for those days when a child may need to come early or stay late.
Over the years, the programs have become increasingly popular with more than 70% of current families participating in some form of extended care. Students thoroughly enjoy their “extra” time at Grace playing with friends and bonding with extended care staff members.
Morning Care
7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.
Morning care is open to all students and begins as early as 7:30 a.m. with staff ready to welcome the children to crafts and centers. Students are given the opportunity to have a morning recess to use physical energy before settling into classroom routines.
Aftercare
3:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
All students are welcome to join aftercare daily until 6:00 p.m. Families may enroll their child for the full school year or take advantage of our flexible drop-in option to best meet their needs. Aftercare is a fun extension of the school day, featuring snack, homework time, and recess with friends.
