Grace students range in age from 3 to 11 years old. We believe these crucial years when children build their foundation for learning will affect how they approach education for the rest of their lives.

As an early childhood and elementary school, Grace is able to put all of our resources and focus into the foundational years of learning and growth. Our program is designed to create exceptional leaders, as seen in our Grace fifth graders. As the oldest children in the school, our fifth graders grow into their role as school leaders, a unique and positive experience for 10- and 11-year-olds. These young people on the cusp of middle school act as mentors, friends and leaders to the younger children. They are given a heathly dose of confidence as they greet their responsibilities head-on. Fifth graders act as chapel acolytes, “Grace Cafe Captains” during lunch hour for Grades 1-5 and playground monitors during recess. They also train as Student Ambassadors and help to lead school tours during Admissions Open House events and private tours. Grace’s STREAM Extravaganza gives fourth and fifth graders a clear time to shine, as they take the reins on this annual community event, planning and executing favorite STREAM activities for children of all ages.

Leadership opportunities extend to second, third and fourth graders as well, through Grace’s buddy program. This pairing of the oldest and youngest Grace students creates a bonded community where children can both achieve and celebrate the achievement of others. Buddies spend time together throughout the school year, working on academic subjects such as reading and math, and pairing together during entire school activities and traditions, including our weekly chapel service.
